Chris Wolbert, an Embry Riddle graduate, has been flying since 1990. In his early flying days, the flight that stands out the most was taking a Piper Apache to the Bahamas. Most recently, Chris enjoyed landing on Moosehead Lake in Greenville, ME in a Cessna 195 on floats.
Chris left direct writer Avemco, to pursue a career with “true aviation people” at Aviation Insurance Resources (AIR). He has been with AIR since its inception in 1999 serving as Regional Vice President. Warbirds are a favorite of Chris’; his dream aircraft being a Mustang. Therefore, he’s always excited to talk to pilots purchasing a warbird for the first time or assisting in insuring a collection of vintage aircraft.
“One thing I’ve learned from my clients is to listen to their individual needs, so I can set up a policy specifically for them,” explains Chris.
An agent’s attention to detail and the ability to create solutions for many aspects of the aviation industry are what Chris states make AIR stand above the competition. When asked what else makes AIR the best career for him, Chris exclaimed, “Being surrounded by a group of people who love aviation!”
