After his career as a firefighter/paramedic, Joe Ruck started traveling the world working for AIG. One day, his then four-year-old daughter told him that he traveled too much and she didn’t like it when he was gone. The timing was perfect, aviation insurance broker Aviation Insurance Resources (AIR) had just opened and the rest is history. His daughter is now in her twenties!
Joe’s flying career began in 1985. He is a commercial pilot with multi and instrument ratings as well as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). His most memorable flight was seeing his family at the end of the runway waving as he departed on his first solo cross-country flight. Since then, his favorite flights have included flying a King Air C90 and visits to Key West, FL. Joe looks forward to one day signing off his three great nephews and two grandsons for their first solo flights
Joe has a genuine concern for the well-being of his clients which is how he believes AIR maintains customer loyalty. He truly enjoys, “hearing the excitement in my customer’s voices when they talk about flying. New students, retired airline pilots, they all love talking about flying.”
